From December 6 to December 12, residents of Bacoor, Imus, and Dasmariñas can start experiencing LINKod Kabitenyo’s free Wi-Fi in public places and their surrounding areas, as part of Cavite’s pre-launch campaign to evaluate the service through users’ experience. There are currently 111 active Wi-Fi sites in Bacoor, 118 in Imus, and 114 in Dasmariñas, with 371, 375, and 461 access points respectively.

Cavite wants to give the public a better experience by setting up connectivity in cities and municipalities phase-by-phase:

Phase 1: Bacoor, Imus, and Dasmariñas
Phase 2: General Trias, Amadeo, Indang, Tanza, and Trece Martires
Phase 3: Carmona, Silang, and GMA
Phase 4: Cavite City, Kawit, Noveleta, and Rosario
Phase 5: Alfonso, Gen. Emilio Aguinaldo, Magallanes, Maragondon Mendez, Naic, Tagaytay, and Ternate

LINKod Kabitenyo may already be available in some areas outside Phase 1, but Cavite will ensure that all sites are activated and properly evaluated before moving onto the next phase.
